Our partnership with Wendel’s Specialty Breads means you now have the ability to receive fresh loaves of bread in your CSA boxes, as well as throughout the off-season! They offer 6 different varieties of bread, and the kind of quality that is hard to find in stores. Their signature breads are all-natural, low in calories, made with no added fat or refined sugars, and rich in whole grains. Varieties include Honey Whole Grain, Cranberry Walnut, Cinnamon Raisin, Whole Wheat, Caraway Rye, and Country-Style White.
We decided to team up with Wendel’s, because their bread is outstanding, and their values are very similar to our own. This partnership allows you to get another essential food item conveniently and from people you trust!
During the CSA season, orders should be placed and paid for directly on their website, with "Hutchinson, MN: The Farm" as the designated “depot” or drop point. Orders placed by Sunday at 5 PM CST will be baked fresh Monday night and delivered with your CSA box on Tuesday.
During the CSA off-season from mid-October through late May, you can simply select one of the many other convenient “depot” drop points to pick up your bread.

Certain genetic variations can affect your body's ability to metabolize and use the B vitamins in the foods you eat. This test can indicate if you need to adjust your intake to avoid an increased risk of disease and other conditions.
Bone Health
- Small variations within a certain gene cluster are associated with more rapid bone loss and osteoporosis in people who fit within a certain demographic. Knowing if you are at risk allows you to make changes in your diet to help prevent osteoporosis.
