Lettuce - Cimarron




Cimarron is an heirloom variety of Romaine lettuce.  It has beautiful red leaves with green-yellow-bronze centers, and is a very tender variety.  Cimarron is also known as Little Leprechaun.
Storage tips:

Cimarron, like other lettuces should be washed and dried completely before being stored in the refrigerator.  Remove as much moisture as possible from the leaves before storing.   Excess water will speed the wilting process. 

A damp paper towel can be wrapped around the lettuce before storing in the crisper, to maintain an ideal environment.
